Leverage a proven methodology based on years of real world experience.

Tesnet Group’s REST ASSURED! RealTime™ solution is based upon our proprietary methodology that gives you consistently remarkable results. Tesnet Group’s proven methodology is based on years of real world experience in complicated testing projects, and it’s a comprehensive formula that guarantees you get high quality software and shorter development and implementation time, while minimizing risks inherent in Embedded/Real Time projects at the same time.

REST ASSURED! Real Time™ Methodology
We classify our tests into two groups, both of which ensure that your Embedded/Real Time system functions correctly:
Different levels of Embedded/Real Time system testing, from unit to system testing
Different types of Embedded/Real Time system testing, from functional, load, robustness and performance to regression testing

Different levels of Embedded/Real Time system testing include:
Unit tests - At the unit test level (“white/black box”), we test whether various software/system units (such as: processes, tasks, packages, screens, queries and reports) of your Embedded/Real Time system function correctly according to the systems functional specification.
Integration tests - At the integration test level, we test the Embedded/Real Time system as a whole. Emphasize will be given to processes, interrelations between the various units and interfaces between sub-systems to related systems that might even been developed by another vendor.
System tests - At the system test level we test the system functioning as a whole, we design and run the following tests to ensure that your system is functioning as required: functional, compatibility, recovery, redundancy, load, performance and stability, and security tests. The tests take place at a laboratory simulating the actual environment the system is required to operate at.

Different types of Embedded/Real Time system testing include:
Functional Tests make sure your system works according to the specifications. Our tests will be based on the documentation of the system. Test the system robustness regarding potential failures.
Load & Stress Tests make sure your system performs as expected with reasonable response time. Our tests will be based on recording your most required processes and – using automated load tools and simulators – simulating virtual users/activities that actually play/activate them concurrently.

Regression Tests ensure that modifications haven’t caused system functioning regressions. We perform regression tests by repeatedly running functional, load and performance tests. Performing thorough regression testing is even more important than in other systems since it requires, in addition, to ensure that system modifications haven’t caused any undesirable changes in system timing.
Other Tests such as compatibility, recovery and security tests may be applied based on the exact requirements of the projects.

Integrative Testing Automation
Automated testing tools are an integrative and highly desirable component of the REST ASSURED! Real Time™ Methodology. Tesnet Group uses leading automated testing tools for testing GUI, telephony, data networking and other analyzers and testing tools.

These tools are augmented by our proprietary SMART Functions™, which are an elaborate set of utilities that make a dramatic difference in the performance of market-available tools. SMART Functions™ both accelerate the testing process and increase the effectiveness of automated testing tools.

By combining market-ready automated testing tools with Tesnet Group’s SMART Functions™ and project specific developments, you’ll enjoy shorter implementation time, increased test coverage, and reduce reliance on error-prone human resources.
